Beauty Day comes but once a year @ourplacesociety, and it was definitely attracting a crowd upstairs at the street drop-in as people lined up for haircuts, makeup, lashes and free beauty products. That’s Naomi getting her makeup done by Erin Bradley, who has helped organize so many of the past Beauty Days since they started in 2011 that she’s lost track. “Everyone deserves to feel beautiful,” says Erin. And that’s Billie getting her hair done by Latham in the second image; Latham is a student with @summitsalonacademyvictoria . Beauty Day is held every year on the Friday before Valentine’s Day. For the guys, mark your calendar for June 19 – the Friday before Father’s Day – when it’ll be Handsome Day.
