Angela

Just happened to be out on a morning shift with Angela @solidoutreachofficial when this fellow got a great new pair of hikers to replace the wet, worn-out sneakers he had on. The footwear came from a big donation of winter wear this week to Solid from the Rise Club obhrise at Oak Bay High, whose members are secondary students raising money for good deeds for people in need. The students came by with a load of outerwear and winter footwear donated to them from @robinsonsvic , and now all those warm coats and shoes are making their way to people living outside who really, really need them. Living homeless brings the risk of all kinds of foot problems that result from being constantly out in winter weather with bad shoes, wet socks (or no socks at all) and a whole lot of walking.
